Antique Silver Heart Locket with initial – this locket is a larger locket and super fun to add to just about any outfit – from young to old. You can choose an antique silver or sterling silver chain for the locket, as well as a rose gold filled, sterling silver or gold filled disc or heart to be stamped with the initial of your choice.

This locket is perfect for yourself, a friend gift, mother in law gift, bff gift, teacher gift, Christmas gift or flower girls or bridesmaids gifts.

You can add two photos to this locket. If you want two photos, choose two photos in the drop down menu and upload two photos in jpeg or png format. They should have a lot of background in order to fit into the heart locket. You can upload up to three photos, if you aren’t sure if the two you want will fit.  Please let us know which two photos are the preferred photos, as well as any special instructions for the photos.

*With lockets, please be sure to close them carefully and try not to “force” them shut in order to maintain the locking closure remains functioning properly.

Gold filled and rose gold filled jewelry contains 100% more real gold than gold plated jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is made with a thick layer of real solid 14k gold. Gold filled jewelry has the advantage of being tarnish resistant and durable. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors, and can easily be worn by people with sensitive skin.

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and considered a precious metal. The remaining 7.5% of the alloy is usually copper, adding strength while preserving the appearance of the pure silver. Sterling silver is also okay for most sensitive skin.

Both sterling silver and gold filled jewelry will tarnish less if stored appropriately – in something airtight – and kept clean and dry. I have found that the more I wear my sterling silver jewelry, the less it tarnishes.

All sterling silver and gold filled jewelry will come with an anti tarnish paper and a polishing cloth to help with the care of your jewelry purchased through GiGisPetals. Jewelry that tarnishes can easily be repolished and look as good as new.
