This rectangle pendant necklace is stamped with your birth month flower with your choice of birthstone on our popular satellite chain. You can choose your own birth month flower, your child’s birth month, your partner’s birth month or your anniversary month – customize it to celebrate life the way you want to. 

The thick gold filled or sterling silver rectangle is stamped with one of our birth month flowers. We will use the larger flower from the chart. It is beautiful on its own or layered with our other necklaces. 

The rectangle is 10mm x 13mm (approximately ¼ inch x ½ inch) with hammered or smooth edges. The thick rectangle, birthstone, and satellite chain are made from all gold filled or sterling silver materials. 

The Details

Gold filled contains 100% more real gold than gold plated jewelry. Gold filled jewelry is made with a thick layer of real solid 14k gold. Gold filled jewelry has the advantage of being tarnish resistant and durable. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors, and can easily be worn by people with sensitive skin.

Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and considered a precious metal. The remaining 7.5% of the alloy is usually copper, adding strength while preserving the appearance of the pure silver. Sterling silver is also okay for most sensitive skin.

Both sterling silver and gold filled jewelry will tarnish less if stored appropriately – in something airtight – and kept clean and dry. I have found that the more I wear my sterling silver jewelry, the less it tarnishes.
